"The Birmingham Cotillion has been a beloved event in the community. It started as a small gathering and quickly grew. Over the years, we have evolved and adapted to meet the needs of our community, children and parents, but our commitment to providing a fun and memorable experience for all has never wavered. We now host our Cotillion at the "Club" in downtown Birmingham - no membership is required to attend."

In a world where kindness, courtesy and respect are often overlooked, JDW Cotillions, a division of JDW Social Education Programs is recognized nationally as an authority in educating young people in the art of social skills, and building social intelligence. Social dance is incorporated into our programs and used as a highly effective method to teach physical respect, develop confidence, establish teamwork and cooperation, reinforce non-verbal and verbal communication, and to teach students how to appropriately and comfortably interact with each other in a structured and healthy environment. In today’s competitive society, those with well-developed social and interpersonal skills have a tangible advantage in virtually every aspect of their lives!
